Sweet enough
I've given up sugar in my tea. That's a big deal to me. I've always been able to drink tea without sugar - I didn't even pull a face - but I've never really enjoyed it. And what's the point in a cup of tea if it's not a luverly cup of tea?

what about using pretendy sugar?
It took me a while to get use to being without sugar in my coffee, but now I couldn't drink it with it. In fact I don't have milk either.
Good point, Chux, but pretendy sugar always tastes chemical-y to me. I switched when I started the diet, but I couldn't have much. When I realised I'd made one little sachet of the stuff (supposedly a teaspoonful) last 2 days, I woke up and smelt the sweet-free tea.
Coffee: I've drunk with no milk or sugar for years! Even the thought of having it any other way makes me go 'yeurgh'!
